Medizinhistorisches Museum

Willkommen in diesem Online-Museum der Medizin und Krankenpflege. Angeführt werden Objekte meiner privaten Sammlung. Um die Exponate “in natura” zu sehen, darf ich Sie demnächst in das Museum SYBODO im Hôpital du Kirchberg in Luxemburg zu Gast einladen (9, rue Edward Steichen L-2540).

Founded in 1973 by several people interested in the history and collecting of infant feeders. The organization has grown steadily and now has over 215 members. Many members collect go-withs (related items such as doll bottles,invalid feeders, sterilizers,trading cards,pictures and advertisements).

Evidence shows us that thousands of years ago many babies were artificially fed from a variety of bottles, feeding cups and other utensils, often with disastrous consequences.
